A Word from Michael Maloney
Why Author Chose This Career: I was looking for stability in the unstable world of show business. Soaps have been around for decades and the stories continue. How Author Began Career: I started out as a Page at CBS. The job entailed processing contestants for The Price Is Right, giving studio tours, loading audiences for game shows including Win, Lose or Draw and Card Sharks, and answering the phones behind the scenery on The Young and the Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful. Later, I worked on the production staff of The Bold and the Beautiful. Personal Interests: Yoga. Learning about health and fitness. Bronze Age comic books. Writing.
