Soap Opera News: 12,000 and Counting

Three stars weighed in on two special occasions on The Young and the Restless: the soap’s 12,000th episode and Chance and Abby’s wedding. Peter Bergman explained how the milestone moment didn’t go unnoticed during taping, while Melissa Ordway (Abby) shared some behind-the-scenes footage from the day.

Bergman also chatted with Soap Hub about his 30 tenure on YR, and the new cast addition he was delighted to welcome aboard. Plus, Sharon Case reflected on her long run as Genoa City’s Sharon and her fashion through the years.

Lulu’s Last Stand

Emme Rylan weighed in on Lulu’s last comatose moments on General Hospital. Mainly, how hard it was not to react to her co-stars emotional monologues over her bedside.

A Bo Brady return? Peter Reckell answered those questions and more during a Twitter chat with Days of Our Lives fans.

GH Scenes Undeleted

Familiar Faces, New Projects

Wayne Brady (ex- Dr. Reese Buckingham, BB) has been tapped to host new unscripted series Game of Talents. Another BB alum, Jacob Young (ex-Rick) is set to tackle the role of a real-life astronaut in a new film Prepare for Launch.

Lisa Rinna, remembered as Billie on DAYS, has entered the cosmetic world. The actress has launched her own lipstick line, aptly called Rinna Beauty.

Briana Lane, who subbed for Amanda Setton as Brook Lynn during her maternity leave from GH, has already landed her next project. Soap Hub has the details on her upcoming movie.

Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis, GH) proudly reported that her daughter, Kate, has released a new song. The singer has appeared on the soap in the past, during the Nurses’ Ball.

Also, Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa, DAYS) is serving up some Christmas cheer, and the sexy men of Salem are helping her.
