If COVID has got you down and not really feeling the holiday spirit, Days of our Lives alumna Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa) may have the solution.
Jen Lilley Makes A Merry Christmas
“In light of everything being canceled in 2020, I’m hosting a really fun fundraiser called Operation: Christmas Is NOT Cancelled on www.ChristmasisNotCancelled.com,” says the actress, who’s currently starring in the Hallmark movie USS Christmas, which premiered Saturday, November 28 at 10p but will re-air throughout the holiday season. You can find Hallmark’s holiday movie schedule here.
Time for Some Cheer
The purpose of the event is “to give fans Christmas cheer through our weekly giveaways and one fan the Ultimate Christmas,” continues Lilley. “And the best part, the campaign is already helping thousands of families in need experience Christmas despite this very tough year through Toys for Tots and the USO.”
Prizes awarded so far have included Balsam Hill wreaths, a set of stockings to hang on your mantel, and a 6.5-foot spruce Christmas tree. Plus, there’s also a Fab Fit Fun winter box in the mix, along with a Hallmark movie watching kit, gingerbread house kits, and a basket of toys. And there’s a fabulous grand prize, too.
Shopping for a Cause
You can shop to earn contest entries. There are some fun items for the dedicated Days of our Lives fans, Christmas sweatshirts, and assorted merchandise, and toy donation packages. Ten percent of the price of each sweepstakes entry purchased on Christmasisnotcancelled.com between October 19, 2020 and December 10, 2020 will be donated to the USO, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $5,000.
To get the word out for her cause and get fans in the spirit of giving, Lilley has also shared a special video with the sexy men of Days of our Lives, which you can watch here. “It’s certainly been a trying year, and I hope this video brings you much joy and laughter,” she adds with a smile.
