The Young and the Restless’ Sharon Case Remembers Sharon Through The Years

Sharon Case has been bringing Sharon Collins Newman (and often back to Collins and then Newman again) to life on The Young and the Restless since 1994 and has a host of memories to share over those 26 years.

This week, the soap hit its own milestone when it aired its 12,000th episode centering on Chance and Abby’s wedding in the Chancellor living room, and stars have been sharing memories on social media all week.

Case has some things to say about Sharon’s fashion through the years and loves the way her wardrobe can reflect her mood. She has very vivid memories of the time the show taped location episodes in Paris and what she was wearing.

“Today I want to talk to you about some of Sharon’s great looks she’s had on the show,” Case says in a video posted on YR’s official Twitter page. “The first thing that comes to my mind is the episode we filmed in Paris. What a beautiful place to film. I really love Sharon’s costume that day. I felt it was very Parisian. I had this cute coat and I had these very high-heeled boots and it was hard to get around on the cobblestone streets there, but it was worth it.”

She goes on to talk about Sharon’s current style as we see clips of Sharon in more recent years. “The thing I really love about Sharon is she can wear anything. She doesn’t just stick to one certain look. From Bohemian to classic, she likes to wear jeans and a sweater sometimes, which is nice. It depends on how she feels for the day.”

The actress also posted her own montage of memorable moments and photos on Instagram, including ones that go all the way back to Sharon and Nick’s teenage dating days. She included these words:

“We are #celebrating 12,000 episodes of #YR #theyoungandtherestless and our cast and our viewers have been my #home and my #family for over 26 years! Thank you for all the #❤️ and #memories! I am looking forward to 12,000 more to come!”
