Nick has always been a popular boy, ever since he returned to The Young and the Restless in his hunky, Joshua Morrow version.

The Young and the Restless Polling

There have been plenty of women in his life, but which one was the best for the Newman scion? Almost 3,000 voters gave us their opinions:

First Love

Sharon (Sharon Case) was the first girl Nick fell in love with and 53% of you don’t believe he’ll ever manage to do any better. She’s the mother of the majority of his children (the living Noah and Faith, and he adopted the late Cassie), and she’s the one he always comes back to, no matter what. This is the One True Pairing. Everyone else is just a pretender to the throne!

Sister Act

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) mentioned a sister the other day. That sister’s name was Avery (Jessica Collins). She and Nick dated. They even got engaged. There were custody battles and legal battles – Avery is an attorney – where she came in handy.

What do you think? Post a comment!

But Nick eventually left her for Phyllis. Then Avery left town. There wasn’t much spark there, but 33% of The Young and the Restless fans are still pulling for this couple! Maybe she can come back. If only to piss off Phyllis.

Phyll-Ed Up

Interestingly enough, only 10% are actually rooting for Nick and Phyllis, a relationship that lasted much longer than him and Avery, and produced a child. But maybe you’re just tired of the back and forth. And are concerned that she’s only in this for the money. Which Phyllis needs now more than ever.

Chelsea’s Chance

An even smaller 4% picked Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) as Nick’s soulmate. They made a nice family with their two boys. But Chelsea is Team Adam all the way now, and if that ship hasn’t sailed, it’s certainly way, way out in international waters for the time being. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
