The Bold and the Beautiful is working with a new fashion consultant in order to make the show more bold and more beautiful. Erica Pelosini Leeman has joined the show as the half-hour show’s executive fashion consultant.

Fashion, as BB fans know, has been part of the show’s fabric (pun intended!) since the show’s inception in 1987. The idea to set the show in that world came not from the show’s creators, the late William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, but rather from their son, William Bell, who is in charge of the business end of the family business.
In The Young and Restless Life of William J. Bell, the authorized biography of the YR and BB creator, Bell, inspired by a neighbor, Leslie Wexner, who created The Limited clothing line, suggested to his father that fashion would make a great backdrop for the show. “I thought there was wealth and glamour in that world,” Bell said.
Bradley Bell is executive producer/head writer of BB. Cast members John McCook (Eric) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) have been with the show since the first episode. The show has won three Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series. The trio of consecutive victories started in 2009. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
