Max Page is not only known for his run as Reed Hellstrom on The Young and the Restless but also for his appearance as a mini-Darth Vader in a Super Bowl commercial. The actor has also undergone several heart surgeries having been born with a heart condition known as Tetralogy of Fallot. Now, the young star is asking for your support.
“Well – here we are in a familiar place @childrensla,” posted Jennifer Page, Max’s mother about being at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. “Max is experiencing sporadic fevers and is also facing another surgery to replace his leads and pacemaker. It’s a tricky surgery due to scar tissue build up so we are ready to engage everyone for prayers.
“Max’s request is a NO FEVER DAY!” Jennifer added. “We have our focus board started. Max is focusing on Trust, Worship and Peace…the kind only the Lord can pour down…This came out of the blue so we are still getting our footing – but we know we aren’t alone and we are grateful. My prayer as a mama is Max can heal quickly and get back to his senior year! But until then we will take it as it comes… we will post when we know more…”
Max has plenty of well-wishers. Among them is This Is Us Star Chrissy Metz (Kate). “Praying and sending peace. Knowing that all is well,” Metz posted on Max’s Instagram. Jennifer shared an update, letting Max’s supporters know that his surgery has been rescheduled for a few days from now.
Jennifer wrote, “5 more vials – praying for answers…God always answers in His timing – but the waiting is hard. Surgery is postponed until at least Monday. So until then we will make the best of it…Max loves the texts and messages from friends and family – they have really helped. He’s advocating for himself and continues to ask God to let His will be done – a forever servant – a passionate advocate – my sweet sweet son…on a lighter note – he looks like Buddy the Elf in here!”
Last December, Max underwent a successful surgery related to his heart condition. Soap Hub joins Max Page’s well-wishers in sending prayers and good thoughts for not only a “NO FEVER DAY!” but also a successful surgery and speedy recovery.
