It’s very clear there is no love lost between brothers EJ DiMera and Chad DiMera. These men could barely get along long enough to pry their father’s company out of Jake DiMera’s grip, never mind truly form a bond. DAYS spoilers hint it’s not going to get better anytime soon. And, well, soap fans, we can see EJ setting out to ruin Chad’s entire life, starting with his marriage.
DAYS Spoilers Wild Speculation
Let us paint you the picture of how this is going to go and why. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) already doesn’t have very many nice things to say to or about Chad and their allyship is hanging by a thread. It’s not going to take much to push EJ over the edge and that day comes when Chad, once again, defends Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) movie magic dreams. It will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and the aftermath will be over the top and completely insane (recall how EJ handled Xander Cook recently).
DOOL: Keep It In The Family
EJ decides the only thing to do is destroy his brother. And, he does this by trying to steal Chad’s wife (which might not be too hard as the two DID have a hot affair back in the day). Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Chad’s marriage is rocky, to say the least, and EJ seizes the day! It starts with a listening ear, a few kind words, a comforting hug, and before long Abigail will be in EJ’s bed (or perhaps history will repeat itself and it will be in the shower).

As much as Abigail lost it when Chad slept with her sister, just imagine the fallout when Abigail intentionally sleeps with his brother. This isn’t like with Stefan, which was a matter of psychosis. This is a calculated move sure to obliterate their union once and for all. He may think he’s worthy of forgiveness for his drunken digression but we can’t see him doling out the same for her.

But wait, there’s more. Maybe, just maybe, this is already EJ’s plan. Think about it, he was the one who talks Chad into “fighting for his marriage” and bringing Abigail home. What if that was part of the scheme? It really makes you think, huh? EJ may just be eviler than any of us could ever imagine. Think this wild speculation could really happen?
