The nominations were revealed for the 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Find out if any of your favorite actors made the cut.
General Hospital co-stars reacted to the announcements from their show, while the Days of our Lives cast congratulated their own nominees.

Medical Drama for GH Stars
GH alumna Crystal Carson (ex-Julia) is battling Stage 3 breast cancer. Her sister, Sheryl McQuary, has set up a fundraiser on Carson’s behalf to help aid with medical bills not covered by insurance.
GH’s Scarlett Fernandez (Charlotte) is in the hospital, following a biking accident that’s left her with both arms in casts. Meanwhile, T.K. Weaver, who once played Jason and Sam’s son, Danny, was involved in a bike crash of his own.

The latest guest of Maurice Benard’s (Sonny) YouTube show, State of Mind, was his GH co-star Nancy Lee Grahn’s (Alexis) daughter, singer Kate Grahn. The young woman bravely opened up about her personal battles with OCD & Tic Disorder.
Laura Wright (Carly, GH), who’s celebrating 30 years in daytime this year, shared her thoughts about Ozark star Tom Pelphrey. The actor played Jonathan to her Cassie on Guiding Light.

Back Together Again
Gimme A Break! Star Telma Hopkins is headed to YR for a short-term role. The move reunites her with Bryant James (Devon), who she last worked with on Family Matters in 1998.
In other YR reunion news, Doug Davidson and Steven Ford, who played private eye pals Paul and Andy back in the 1980s, recently got together for the first time in decades. Check out this photo from the occasion.
A Little Romance
Michael Damian, remembered as Danny on YR, is set to produce a romantic comedy, holiday film for Netflix starring Lindsay Lohan. It begins production in November.
A Tribute to Mom
Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm, YR) paid special tribute to his late mother. He had a stone plaque laid in the ground where she stood the night he signed the offer to purchase his new home.
