Something curious has happened to the Spencer men on The Bold and the Beautiful. Once prominent leads at the center of some of the soap’s most popular supercouples, they’ve all become losers at love.
Bold and the Beautiful: Bill Banished
It started with patriarch, Bill (Don Diamont). After years of vacillating between Katie (Heather Tom) and her sister, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), they both gave him the heave-ho and moved on with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), respectively. The only action poor Bill’s had in the last couple of years was his seduction of Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), and that was an undercover sting operation.
B&B: Wyatt’s Conundrum
Meanwhile, although Wyatt (Darin Brooks) is technically engaged to Flo (Katrina Bowden), the character hasn’t appeared on screen since June 2022. There’s been no mention of her or the couple’s romance. There’s been no discussion of the pair making wedding plans. The story, or lack thereof, has left Wyatt in total romantic limbo.
Bold and the Beautiful: Liam at a Loss
The Spencer men’s loser-at-love status finally trickled all the way down to Liam (Scott Clifton), the one member of the family who had been living happily ever after with his wife, Hope (Annika Noelle). That is until she suddenly started having sexual fantasies about Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and followed that up by impulsively kissing and bedding him. It’s left Liam crushed and demanding a divorce, unable to forgive Hope for straying with his arch-enemy.

B&B: What’s Next?
Fortunately, the three Spencer men have each other to lean on as they muddle through this dreary time in their lives. What else have they got to do on a Friday or Saturday night? And hopefully, in time, Bill, Wyatt, and Liam will all be back on the romantic forefront. Katie could decide to give Bill another chance, or he could meet and fall for someone new. Flo could return to the canvas and rev things up with Wyatt. And Liam could be there to pick up the pieces and save Hope when Thomas eventually reverts to his darker side. But until then, the Spencer men remain in romantic limbo.
