Here is the latest casting news from all five daytime dramas for the week of May 25-29. Find out who’s coming and going from The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and Beyond the Gates.

The Bold and the Beautiful Casting

Darin Brooks leads a major pack of returns at B&B. The actor, who was last on the canvas in January 2024, finally returns as Wyatt Spencer this week. He shares his first scenes with his TV dad, Don Diamont’s Bill, and onscreen brother, Scott Clifton’s Liam. Brooks shared a special goodbye with fans when he was taken off contract in 2023.

Also popping back in at the soap is Denise Richards as Shauna Fulton, Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) bestie and Flo’s (Katrina Bowden) mother. Richards, who originally played Shauna from  2019 to 2022, returns this week. She recently reunited with the soap’s co-stars at the BBTV launch party.

After an eight-year absence, Theodora Greece is returning as Alison Montgomery. The actress, who made her debut as Bill’s (Don Diamont) crafty assistant in 2011, recurred through 2018. She resurfaces on Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28. 

Naomi Matsuda, who’s been conspicuously missing as Dr. Li Finnegan, is back on set filming scenes as Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) mother. The actress shared a post on Instagram noting that she had returned to work at the soap, along with some backstage footage of her getting camera-ready.

Jennifer Gareis gets more screen time as Donna Logan Forrester. The character, who’s caught in the crosshairs of the Logan sisters’ feud, airs on Monday, May 25, and Thursday, May 28. Check out some fun facts about the B&B vet.

Jade Coatsworth pops in as Kingsley, the Forrester Creations intern. She appears on Monday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 26.

Shannon McMullen resurfaces as Willow. The Forrester model airs on Monday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 26.

Sissy Sheridan returns as Jessica, an employee at Logan. The character reports back to work at the fashion company on Monday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 26.  

Christopher “Sincere” Cato is back as Alex. He appears on Monday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 26. 

Jazz Jasprett Kaur has been cast as a DJ. The character turns up on Monday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 26.

Days of our Lives Casting

A pair of popular couples is about to reunite on DAYS. Melissa Reeves arrives in Salem as Jennifer Horton Deveraux, joining Matthew Ashford, who returned as Jack last week. The duo has a heart-to-heart about their kids on Monday, May 25. Reeves also interacts with AnnaLynne McCord’s Cat on Tuesday, May 26.

Lamon Archey returns as Eli Grant on Friday, May 29. He shares sweet scenes with his TV wife, Sal Stowers’ Lani, and also meets with Susan Seaforth Hayes’ Julie. Check out Archey having some rollicking fun behind the scenes at DAYS.

Javi’s (Al Calderon) new boyfriend materializes this week. Michael Ocampo has been cast as Gus. He makes his first appearance on Thursday, May 28.

Casey Moss pops in as JJ Deveraux. He interacts with Brandon Beemer’s Shawn on Monday, May 25. 

Miles Anderson resurfaces as Foster, the former bookstore owner. His character asks Seaforth Hayes’ Julie out to dinner on Friday, May 29. 

Shi Ne Nielsen gets more airtime as Amy Choi. Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) grieving mother has a poignant exchange with Elia Cantu’s Jada on Monday, May 25. She also plots revenge on Wednesday, May 27.

General Hospital Casting

Jonathan Bennett is back on the GH scene as Joe Fitzpatrick. Here’s everything you need to know about the actor. The new Port Charles cop pursues a lead with Chase (Josh Swickard) on Monday, May 25.

Bluesy Burke returns as Charlotte Cassadine. Look for Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Valentine’s (James  Patrick Stuart) daughter to open up to Carly (Laura Wright) on Friday, May 29.

Asher Antonyzyn gets more screen time as Danny Morgan. He shares scenes with Burke’s Charlotte and others this week. 

Andrew Hawkes continues his reign of terror as the evil Ross Cullum. Hawkes recently revealed how his unscrupulous GH character came to pass.

The Young and the Restless Casting

Vivica A. Fox continues her run as Dr. Stephanie Simmons on Y&R. The character and her son, Holden (Nathan Owens), receive news about Malcolm’s (Shemar Moore) condition on Thursday, May 28. Fox, who returned to the soap after three decades, shared her thoughts on the subject.

Roger Howarth gets more screen time as Matt Clark. He airs in pivotal scenes opposite Joshua Morrow’s Nick on Thursday, May 28, and Friday, May 29. (Howarth recently opened up about his villainous alter ego.

Stacy Haiduk is back on the scene as Patty Williams. The character makes a distress call about Jack (Peter Bergman) on Tuesday, May 26, while Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) gives her a history lesson on Friday, May 28.

Melissa Ordway is back as Abby Newman Winters. She interacts with Bryton James’ Devon on Wednesday, May 27, when her character makes a promise to her husband.

Beyond the Gates Casting

Ben Gavin has wrapped up his run as Derek Baldwin on BTG. The original cast member was killed off the CBS soap last week in a surprise storyline twist.
