After a classic episode of General Hospital aired on Memorial Day, brand-new episodes return on Tuesday, May 26. According to the weekly spoilers, Kristina gets big news. Could this news be life-changing?
Key Takeaways
- Kristina receives major news that could potentially change the course of her future — and perhaps tie into Kate Mansi’s upcoming exit.
- Lulu and Dante put their differences aside and reach an agreement as they scramble to find missing Rocco.
- Carla makes a desperate plea.
- Sidwell shares a theory with Ava while Chase and Fitzpatrick pursue a lead that could bring unexpected fallout.
Kristina Receives a Major Update
Kristina isn’t experiencing a lot of drama in her life right now, which is rather unusual. She successfully reopened Charlie’s Pub. And she and her sister Molly (Kristen Vaganos) are getting along better than ever. In fact, Kristina (Kate Mansi) accompanied Molly to her latest doctor’s appointment. Sure, there is the looming presence of the secrets Kristina has been keeping from her sister. But who knows if they will be revealed anytime soon.
On Tuesday, Kristina gets big news. Whatever she learns might be life-changing. And it could be the setup for Kate Mansi’s upcoming exit from GH. Over the weekend, it was announced that the actress is leaving after playing Kristina Corinthos for three years. Her last tape date happened in April. So her final appearance could be any day now.
Lulu and Dante Reach an Unexpected Understanding
Lulu (Alexa Havins) had fake passports and was ready to leave town with Rocco (Finn Carr). Meanwhile, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) didn’t want his ex to turn their son into a fugitive. In the end, Rocco decided to make a run for it on his own. Well, not completely on his own. He didn’t want to make things worse for his parents, so he took off with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud, who explains why Britt is so ready to sacrifice herself for Rocco).
In the process, he did exactly what he didn’t set out to do. He made things worse for his parents. Because now they have no idea where their son is. He has his fake passport and no phone. As a result, Lulu and Dante will have to get creative to find Rocco, which means they will need to get on the same page. Look for them to come to an agreement. Smart move.
Carly Makes a Desperate Appeal
While Lulu and Dante try to find Rocco, Carly (Laura Wright) feels it in her bones that she needs to find Joss (Eden McCoy). Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) blames Jack (Chris McKenna) for her disappearance. He thinks Brennan sent his agent away for her protection. But we know that Cassius (Ryan Paevey) is holding her captive for her own good….allegedly.
Currently, Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) doesn’t know about Joss’ WSB status, but if he did, she would be in trouble. It doesn’t help that she now knows Nathan is Cassius. Needless to say, Carly is about to make a plea to someone, and it could very well involve Joss. Or her desperation could be focused on Lucas (Van Hansis). During the sneak peek at the end of Friday’s episode, Lucas and Carly are talking at Bobbie’s.
Sidwell Plays Connect the Dots for Ava
Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has really come to rely on Ava (Maura West) and not just for art. He appreciates that she is comfortable living life among other dangerous people. She listens and she’s fairly loyal, at least until she finds herself on the business end of betrayal.
Sidwell recently lost Marco (Adrian Anchondo) and so far he still doesn’t know who killed him. Little does he know that there are people in his life —who live in Wyndemere— who could tell him who the culprit is. But he rather accuse Sonny (Maurice Benard) of doing it. That could all change when Sidwell shares a theory with Ava. Perhaps he starts connecting the dots on Marco’s killer. If this is the case, will he come close to guessing the murderer’s identity?
Chase and Fitzpatrick Follow an Important Lead
On Tuesday, look for Officer Chase (Josh Swickard) and Detective Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) to pair up to pursue a lead. The question is which case this lead will involve. There are a ton of unsolved PCPD cases after all. What would be interesting here is if the case had something to do with the Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) accident. Joe was the one who arrested Curtis after he decked Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) in front of a bunch of Metro Court restaurant patrons.
If the officer and the detective’s lead has to do with the other driver in this case, then there’s a good chance that Chase may be landing on his own doorstep. It’s not just Isaiah’s car that recently needed some damage repair. Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) car did too. But of course Chase wouldn’t know anything about that. Tracy (Jane Elliot) would, though.
