Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Leading lady Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is heading off The Bold and the Beautiful canvas as Steffy Forrester. The character and her children, Kelly (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and Hayes (Chase Banks), leave town on Thursday, September 7, so Steffy can sort out her troubled personal life. The move was dictated by MacInnes Wood’s maternity leave.

Darin Brooks has a heavy week as Wyatt Spencer. He airs on Wednesday, September 6,  Thursday, September 7, and Friday, September 8.

Naomi Matsuda returns as Dr. Li Finnegan. Look for Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) mother to air on Friday, September 8.

In addition, the soap opera has cast Lisa Yamada in the contract role of Luna. The character is a mysterious college student in fashion design who turns up at Forrester Creations. Yamada’s credits include the Freeform series Cruel Intentions and the Hulu mini-series, Little Fires Everywhere.

Days of our Lives

Another cast member from Days of our Lives’ past will be on hand for Victor’s (John Aniston) funeral. Rachel Melvin reprises her role as Chelsea Brady, Bo’s (Peter Reckell) daughter, on Thursday, September 7. The actress last aired on the soap opera in 2009.

Louise Sorel begins her return stint as Vivian Alamain on Friday, September 8. The actress made her last appearance on the soap in 2020. Since then the character has been portrayed by Robin Strasser and Linda Dano.

Stacy Haiduk pops in as the late Susan Banks on Monday, September 4. She’ll share scenes with her TV son Dan Feuerriegel, who portrays EJ DiMera.

Yvans Jordain is playing Dugan. The man will meet with Stephen Nichols’ Steve Johnson and Drake Hogestyn’s John Black on Monday, September 4.

General Hospital

One Life to Live alumna Kassie DePaiva brings her Llanview character, Blair Cramer, to General Hospital this month. The last time Blair was in Port Charles was 2012. There’s no word regarding how or how long the actress will be on the canvas.

Adam Huss is back on the canvas as Nikolas Cassadine, and this time around the character is alive and well. When last seen on the soap opera in March, Nikolas was in a hospital bed connected to medical machines.

Carolyn Hennesy returns to action as Diane Miller on Tuesday, September 5. The attorney is summoned to represent her number one client, Maurice Benard’s Sonny Corinthos, when he finds himself in legal trouble.

Nathanyael Gray pops back in as Mason Gatlin. The shady character airs on Tuesday, September 5 in scenes opposite Maura West’s Ava Jerome.

The Young and the Restless

Michael Damian is heading back to The Young and the Restless as Danny Romalotti later this month. Look for the Genoa City rock star to stick around for a while this time, as he’ll be part of a longer story arc. Damian last appeared on the soap back in April.
