Greg Vaughan is known today as Eric Brady on Days of our Lives. But his fans know that the actor made his debut on The Young and the Restless in 2003 as Diego. He’s on the list of actors who’ve been on all three networks as Vaughan also played Lucky on General Hospital from 2003-06. Now, the Daytime Emmy winner and fan favorite is joining Soap Hub for a Fireside Chat to talk about his incredible career.
Greg Vaughan: All the Days of His Life
Soap Hub newsletter subscribers, mark your calendar for Friday, August 18 (moved from Thursday), at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT. That’s when Vaughan will be joining us. While the actor has been on multiple soaps, he’s also known for his many primetime appearances and regular roles on such series as Charmed, Queen Sugar, Beverly Hills 90210, Malibu Shores, and Lucifer.
Vaughan made his debut in Salem in 2012 when he assumed the role of Roman (Josh Taylor) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) son, the twin brother of trouble-making Sami (Alison Sweeney).
The Brady Bunch
When Vaughan brought Eric back to Salem, he’d been exploring the priesthood, but that didn’t keep him from romantic entanglements. He hit the sheets with Kristen DiMera (then, Eileen Davidson; now, Stacy Haiduk) and later rekindled his relationship with Nicole (Arianne Zucker).
Vaughan has exited DAYS on and off over the last decade-plus. He’s brought Eric back for dramatic story purposes, not the least of which had been the former priest’s return to Salem to help exorcise the Devil from his possessed mother, Marlena.
Greg Vaughan: Modeling DAYS, Awards, Family
The actor spent part of his early career as a model appearing in campaigns for Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren. In 2018, Vaughan won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Eric on DAYS. Off-screen, Vaughan is the proud dad to three sons — Jathan, Landan, and Cavan.
