A DOOL Debut

Manning debuted on DAYS on October 5 as Charlie Dale, an intern at Titan Publishing. Charlie and Claire (Isabel Durant) had a “meet-cute” where they bumped into one another and started flirting. Are they destined to become one of DAYS’ many supercouples? At Titan, Xander (Paul Telfer) is advising Charlie on how to handle things.

Manning may be familiar to viewers of the Real World and The Bay. The actor appeared on the reality show in in 2009 when the series was set in Washington D.C. More recently, he appeared on the multiple Daytime Emmy-award winning series The Bay as Caleb McKinnon. Earlier this year, Manning won a Daytime Emmy as one of the web series’ producers.

The actor can also be seen in The Call, new a horror film along with Lin Shaye (Penny Dreadful: City of Angels) and Tobin Bell (The Flash). Next year, Manning will star in the Spike Lee (Do the Right Thing) produced civil rights drama, Son of the South.

There’s more! Manning’s other upcoming projects include: Bonds of Redemption, Into the Klondike, You Can Call Me Eve, and Night in the Garden of Eve.

Manning stays busy behind the camera, too, having written and directed projects, but, in addition to acting, his passion is producing. He’s been a producer on many projects including M.F.A and Lost in America, featuring Halle Berry (Monster’ Ball; Catwoman), Rosario Dawson (Rent), singer Jewel and Tiffany Haddish (The Last O.G.)

He produced the Showtime documentary Kidnapped for Christ. On the charitable front, he is an ambassador for the anti-bullying organization Boo2Bullying. He’s a board member for the largest youth-focused clean water organization in the world, Thirst Project, and he’s been honored by the City Council and State Assembly of New York for his work promoting equal rights around the United States.
