Returns General Hospital Fans Want and Odds on Who’ll Be First

General Hospital fans have been clamoring for a few returns to the ABC soap, actors and characters they’ve been missing and want to see back where they belong. Let’s take a look at the top three missing players, and the odds of who’ll be back in Port Charles, first.

General Hospital: Bringing Back Sonny Corinthos

While Maurice Benard is still technically on the canvas, it isn’t as the familiar character fans know and love: mob boss and coffee importer Sonny Corinthos. He’s been holed up in Nixon Falls for months living an alternate life as “Mike.”

GH viewers are growing tired of his shtick at The Tan-o and want to see Sonny back home in Port Charles and reunited with Carly (Laura Wright), his children, and best buddy Jason (Steve Burton).

With Carly and Jason’s wedding on the horizon, the timing is perfect for Sonny’s comeback just in the nick of time to stop it. That’s why he’s the odds on favorite to return first.

Is Hayden Barnes Happening?

Suddenly, everyone on General Hospital’s talking about the missing Hayden (Rebecca Budig). Sean Butler (Shawn Blackmore) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are investigating who really shot her. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Colomo) is working overtime to keep his secret that he’s the real culprit.

Violet’s (Jophielle Love) been asking about her mommy, while Hayden’s own mother, Naomi (Gigi Bermingham), suddenly arrived in town and just as suddenly was murdered!

Soap fans know the drill. When a character is mentioned incessantly, it means they’re on their way back to town, and that’s why viewers have been getting a refresher course on them. Odds are she’ll be the second character to make her way back to town.

Lulu Lost

Sadly, one of the soap’s most beloved characters, Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan), appears as if she’ll be remaining off the canvas for a while. Mom Laura Collins (Genie Francis) recently informed Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that comatose Lulu’s condition wasn’t improving and that he should move on with his life, while his own mother, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), gave him the same speech a few days earlier.

Obviously, the soap wants to close the door on Lulu and Dante to give Dante permission to move on with Sam. And they’re hoping the push will get fans on board. Once a Dante and Sam romance is in full swing, Lulu’s return would seem imminent. However, that’s a long way off, which is why odds are she’ll be the last actress/character to resurface on General Hospital.
