You may think you know everything about Lulu on General Hospital, but she was born on the show back in 1994 and has been through a lot in her young life.
Lesley Lu “Lulu” Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) has grown up (at times quickly) in front of her eyes, and no matter what crazy things she might do, we can’t help but root for her to succeed. After all, she’s the daughter of that legendary supercouple, Luke and Laura Spencer. Here are five fast facts you may have forgotten about her.
1. Rough Start
It wasn’t long after Lulu was born (named after her grandmother, Lesley), that she was diagnosed with aplastic anemia and required a bone marrow transplant.
That forced Laura to admit she had another child, Nikolas, who ended up donating the much-needed marrow. Luke had a hard time accepting Laura’s son by his enemy, Stavros Cassadine.
2. Home Wrecker
Lulu wanted Dillon, but he was with Maxie’s younger sister, Georgie. She worked to break them up and slept with Dillon when he was seeking comfort over his broken heart. But Lulu ended up pregnant — and had an abortion. It took a while but she and Dillon were able to eventually able to be friends again.
3. Meet The Geek
Lulu befriended Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who worked for the mob — specifically Lorenzo Alcazar.
She tried to rescue him but the two ended up being captured. They were eventually rescued by Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard), and the experience bonded them.
4. Scared To Death
Lulu had a complicated relationship with Logan. He blamed Maxie for ruining his relationship with Lulu and she saw the incident.
When she wouldn’t let him in her place, he tried to break into her apartment with an ax. Scared of him, Lulu ended up stabbing him to death.
5. Kidnapped By…
Lulu was once kidnapped by Franco, taken from the Crimson office. He wanted to take Maxie but instead, he strapped Lulu to a bomb on one side of town.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) was also strapped to a bomb, thinking Jason couldn’t rescue both. Jason saved Sam while Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) rescued Lulu in the nick of time.
