Josh Swickard General Hospital
Josh Swickard and wife Lauren Swickard have welcomed their first child, a daughter, into the world. The General Hospital star and his wife proudly shared the news of their daughter’s birth and some photographs!
“Savannah Kaye Swickard!!!!” exclaimed the happy father, who plays Chase on GH. “You have no idea how loved you are! (And what an absolute boss your mama is😍) welcome to the world baby girl.”
Lauren posted the same photo but added some different information to her post. “Savannah Kaye Swickard you are SO loved. Born 4-2-21 on Good Friday 💕❤️ You are a world changer baby girl!!!,” the new mom wrote.
Co-stars and daytime pals are chiming in on the news with congratulatory messages.
“Congratulations man!” posted Michael Mealor (Kyle, The Young and the Restless), Swickard’s longtime pal, whom himself became a new dad — on-screen that is! (Check out YR to see that storyline!) “Can’t wait to meet her!”
“Love you all!!! 💙💙💙 beautiful family!! Congrats!!! 🎊,” posted Katelynn MacMullen, who plays Chase’s on-again/off-again love Willow on GH.
Ironically, Swickard becoming a parent mirrors some real-life family drama Chase has been experiencing on GH. While Chase isn’t a dad, he found out recently that the man, Gregory, played by Gregory Harrison, he thought was his pop all his life is not. Chase’s real dad is his “brother” Finn played by Michael Easton. (OK, not really, but that secret is still being held by Cyrus.)
Swickard’s not the only GH actor who’s a new parent. Recently, Hayley Erin (ex-Kiki) shared on social media that she and her husband, actor Adam Fergus, are expecting twins!
Little Savannah Kaye isn’t the only joint production from Mr. and Mrs. Swickard. Last year, they both starred in the Netflix holiday movie A California Christmas. Lauren wrote the film. She and Josh served as producers on the project.
