Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) abusively disabuses Xander (Paul Telfer) of the notion that he’s the father of her unborn baby…. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) accepts Xander’s marriage proposal while Sarah phones Rex (Kyle Lowder) and agrees to become his bride…. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) agrees to EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) suggestion that they get married right away. However, forces amass to halt their progress.
When Melinda (Tina Huang) threatens blackmail, Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) resolves to come clean to her man, consequences be damned…. Having seen off a concerned Eric (temporary recast Jason Gerhardt), Shawn (Brandon Beemer) is chagrined when Belle (Martha Madison) insists on joining his pity party.
Talia (Aketra Sevillian) rides to an ailing Sloan’s rescue. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) subsequently informs Sloan and Eric that their baby hasn’t survived…. Melinda raises EJ’s suspicions…. Li (Remington Hoffman) and Melinda used one another metaphorically and literally…. Nicole encourages Johnny (Carson Boatman) to apprise Chanel (Raven Bowens) of his renewed interest in her, but he loses his nerve upon seeing his ex and Talia interact.
Ava (Tamara Braun) delights over several hallucination-free days only to then catch sight of Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk)…. Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) resolve to get to the bottom of whatever it is that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Dimitri (Peter Porte) are up to…. Dimitri and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) are forced to vacate Iceland in order to meet with a barrister representing the Von Leuschner trust.
Nicole accidentally overhears Eric informing Roman (Josh Taylor) that Sloan miscarried…. Harris (Steve Burton) manages to calm Ava and bring her out of her hallucination…. EJ was plagued by a horrific nightmare concerning his mother’s death…. Melinda eavesdropped on Tripp (Lucas Adams) getting the news about Sloan’s baby and rushed over to the hospital.
Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and Melinda give Sarah and Sloan food for thought, respectively. Sloan winds up resigned to keeping mum about Eric being the father of Nicole’s baby, while Sarah seems poised to come clean to Xander about their gestating wee one…. Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) returns to Salem and swings by Chloe’s abode.
