Days of our Lives is known for its supercouples on their grand romantic adventures. But they are just as celebrated for their multi-decade friendships which make it feel like home.

Days of our Lives Polling

Soap Hub asked which of the show’s many longtime friendships over the decades was your favorite, and here’s what you answered:

DAYS: Either Side of the Grave

Not even death could get between the Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) bromance, as was made clear when Angel Bo brought Steve’s son, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) back to life. They only had a moment to connect, but, in that second, whatever needed to be said, was.

Days of our Lives: To Protect And Serve

Salem watchers met cop partners Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Roman Brady, when the latter was still played by original recipe Wayne Northrup. Even Roman’s death and his eventual resurrection — recast with Josh Tayler (who previously played Chris Kositchek on the show…pretend you don’t notice the resemblance) — wasn’t enough to break the bond, as determined by 8% of the audience.

DOOL: Cousin, Cousine

Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) didn’t grow up together, but the two reconnected during their teen years when Jennifer ran away from home and returned to Salem just in time for Hope to come back from boarding school.

Since then, they’ve been through multiple heartbreaks, professional disappointments, wayward children, and a death or two. Their bond is an inspiration to 7% of fans, who miss their deep conversations.

Days of our Lives: Friends With Benefits

It’s always hard to tell when Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) are just friends, when they’re co-parents, when they’re a couple, and when they’re enemies. But for 6% of you, it doesn’t matter.

The point is, their lives are interconnected and always will be. They’ll be there for you…even if that means a teeny-tiny kidnapping to make it clear that the guy you’re married to isn’t right for you. Not like your kidnapper is.
