Johnny Refuses to Believe EJ Has Changed
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) told Johnny (Carson Boatman) that DiMera Pharma was responsible for Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) arsenic poisoning and got his buy-in on the cover-up. Johnny then decided that the dumping of pills on Smith Island and the subsequent tainted water were responsible for Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) cancer.
EJ pointed out that he was being ridiculous. But Johnny loves to fly off the handle and throw around accusations. So he does it again. Especially now that he knows his dad is about to lose Salem University Hospital due to even more underhanded dealings.
Sarah and Xander Find Common Ground
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) parted on very bad terms. Both had lied to each other one too many times.
But now they are a united front for Holly — who has yet to demand a blood test to prove she isn’t on drugs — and this reminds them of how well they worked together in the past. So they are briefly pleasant to each other. Could it last?
Melinda Becomes Leo’s Unexpected Advantage
Leo (Greg Rikaart) is helping Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) prove that her designs have been stolen and knocked off. He thinks his stellar reporting skills will save the day.
But since Leo has no clue what he is doing, it is more likely that Melinda (Tina Huang) will be able to trace the scene of the crime. And Leo can take the credit for it.
Kayla and Steve Fear Stephanie Is Headed for Heartbreak
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) has little to do but say mean things about EJ, and Steve (Stephen Nichols) doesn’t even have that much. So the pair team up to worry about sweet Stephanie (Abigail Klein), evil Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins), and clueless Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). They deserve better.
