What To Watch Next Week
So many things are coming to a head in Salem as July sweeps barrel on. Anything with EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) is a must-see. EJ can’t escape the problems he’s caused or the diabolical plans he’s put in motion, which means his telling Rita (Maggie Carney) his fears should be very interesting.
On that same note, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is always a must-see, especially as she helps Lexie (Nikki Crawford) while grappling with the fact that EJ plans to send her away. Perhaps Kristen’s escape plan for Lexie involves them both leaving town together. It would give Lexie the one thing she truly wants: Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and Abe (James Reynolds) not to watch her die.
That brings me to Abe and Lexie getting married again. It’s going to be heartbreaking to watch knowing that Lexie is going to die again, which will break Abe’s heart all over again.
Watching Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) be more in the mix has been a joy. They aren’t simply there to support Stephanie (Abigail Klein) anymore. Kayla and Steve are both knee deep in the EJ hospital drama, and it’s a treat for fans.
Last but not least, Leo (Greg Rikaart) teams up with Melinda (Tina Huang) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) is a must-watch. Neither of these women is fond of Leo, so seeing them form an alliance with him is very intriguing.
