The Y&R spoilers for Monday, December 19, 2022, tease all things Newman as members of the iconic Genoa City family find true meaning, discuss plans, and issue unexpected invitations.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
It’s Christmas in Genoa City, and although he’s ruthless the rest of the time, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) often takes the time to appreciate a Christmas miracle or two as this holiday season heralds the end of one year and the beginning of another.
As they’re preparing for the festivities, Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) discuss the true meaning of Christmas. It’s sure to have something to do with family, which is central to them. The wealthy couple may also discuss giving to and helping those less fortunate than them. Who knows? Maybe Victor will choose to help somebody who reminds him of himself as a boy.
Young & Restless Spoilers: Plans
Another Newman, Nick (Joshua Morrow), makes some plans for the big celebration. After they spent Thanksgiving apart, he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) discuss their holiday plans. Will it be another low-key holiday doing their own respective things, or will Nick attempt to add Sally into the mix at the ranch?

That seems like it might not go so well given both Nikki and Victor’s recent warnings to Nick about Sally. Plus, that doesn’t even take into account that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) recently fired Sally without cause from Newman Media. Talk about an awkward family gathering.
Y&R Spoilers: Surprise
Finally, (one of) the Newman black sheep, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), finds himself at loose ends after Sally recently revealed that she and Nick were trying to make a real go of things. He turns to his ex-wife and mother of his son, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). She’s certainly had a difficult time lately, recovering from her deep depression. Adam surprises Chelsea with an unexpected invitation. Will she accept?
