Y&R spoilers teased how Connor Newman managed to take learning that Johnny Abbott is his biological brother and somehow turn it into whining that Chelsea Lawson wants Johnny, not him. (We’re still scratching our heads over that one.)

And then he managed to turn his mother’s mental breakdown into a way to, once again, make it about him, with his sad tales of being bullied. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) swore to Connor (Judah Mackey) that all the secrets in their family are out now. But we know that isn’t true. Johnny (Paxton Mishkind) isn’t Connor’s only secret brother.
Young & Restless: The Other Cousin
Connor thought Johnny was his cousin, because his father, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), is Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) brother. But Victoria is only Johnny’s adoptive mom. Chelsea is his biological mother.
Connor also thinks that Christian Newman is his cousin. Because his father, Adam, is Nicholas Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) brother. But Nicholas is only Christian’s legal father. Adam is his bio dad. In fact, when Adam first returned to Genoa City, he sued Nick for custody of Christian.
And Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) backed him up. Because Victor is the worst parent in Genoa City. And this is a town where Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton), Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) currently live.

Y&R Spoilers: Another Bombshell
We can only imagine how Connor will react when he is finally clued into this tidbit. He will obviously see it as Adam preferring Christian over him – even though Chelsea and Connor were in hiding at the time, and Adam didn’t even know where they were. Connor will still demand to know why Adam didn’t put him first.
Now, we don’t blame the kid for being upset. His parents both lied to him, and his parents have both done terrible, terrible things. But, just like we’re more interested in Johnny with this reveal than Connor — whose life pretty much remained the same – we predict we’ll be more interested in Christian the next time, and not in Connor making it all about himself…again.
