Now that Sally Spectra is out at Newman Media on The Young and the Restless, she and Chloe Mitchell Fisher should absolutely go into the cutthroat world of self-employment and interior design. There is absolutely nothing there that could set either off and turn them into a mutually self-destructive feedback loop. But will the new business be a success?
Will the beautiful people of Genoa City want to hire Sally (Courtney Hope) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), 65% of the audience is wondering. After all, neither one is exactly pedigreed enough to fit in. Chloe is the daughter of Kay Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) maid, and Sally is a former fashion designer-turned-CEO. Do you want them in your house with access to your silverware? Yeah, we didn’t think so..
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) desperately needs help sprucing up her place, 24% of you insist. Her place is looking kind of rough around the edges. If Sharon doesn’t mind inviting the woman who’s slept with most of her ex-husbands (who hasn’t, though?), then Sally should absolutely find success in giving her house a makeover. Plus, Chloe is there to ease any odd tension that could arise, especially if any of the men happen to stop by.
Not only are 11% of voters wondering who would hire Sally and Chloe, but you’re also wondering who’d invest in them. Their last venture together was the fashion platform that went nowhere, and they at least had a track record there. Here they are starting out from Square One. Do they have samples of their work to show? Good reviews? Happy clients? And you know how no one in Genoa City actually works. Why should they be any different?
