The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, July 30, 2021, featured Jack Finnegan making a surprise appearance. His visit pushed Finn to spill the details of his upbringing. While his secret wasn’t very scandalous, it seems like Jack has a skeleton in his closet.

It was a big day at the cliff house. No sooner did Finn (Tanner Novlan) sit Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) down to tell her his family secret than his father knocked at the door. Jack Finnegan (Ted King) was there to meet his grandson and his soon-to-be daughter-in-law finally.

Steffy and Finn were thrilled he was there. In fact, it made it easier for Finn to spill the truth. Jack is his father but not biologically so. Neither parent was. He was adopted. Steffy breathed a sigh of relief. Is that all?
Finn admitted he thought of finding his biological parents once in a while. However, he was pretty happy with his family. He has genuinely loving parents and had a wonderful upbringing. What more could he want? He and Steffy hugged it out while Jack looked on. “Do I tell them,” he thought. Tell them what, Jack?

Bold and Beautiful Recap: Hurry Up, Carter Walton
Over at the FC office, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) gave everyone a non-update on the divorce. No news or Quinn Fuller’s (Rena Sofer) signature yet. Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) urged him to rush it along. Eric Forrester (John McCook) agreed. It was time to get her out of all their lives.

Carter went home to find Quinn still in his apartment (does she not have a place to live?). They flirted, joked, laughed, and agreed they could not stay away from each other. They also talked about this being a very tough spot. Do they throw caution to the wind and continue their love story?
