Eric’s (John McCook) health is a hot topic in his household, and it’s about to get hotter — and not in a good way. The doctor comes in to check on him, and he has news. Bad news. It seems Eric is more sickly than he initially realized.

Does this mean Eric is finally getting an official diagnosis? Whatever it is, how will this impact his forever kind of love with Donna (Jennifer Gareis)? Donna fought hard (well, not that hard, but she still fought) to be with Eric. He’s the love of her life, after all.
Will this also impact his new line? He wants to go out with a bang before he retires, and that’s one dream he does not want to give up. While he has Donna and a reluctant-to-keep-secrets RJ (Joshua Hoffman) in his corner, he’ll need more support to get through this tough time.
