What to Watch Next Week

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is doing her best to stay strong while she deals with her blindness. She’s at home on the ranch. She’s trying to stay positive, but at the same time, she’s also trying to be realistic about her situation.

Next week, the new batch of teasers reveals that the walls close in on Nikki as she struggles with her condition. Hopefully, in those most vulnerable times, she’s able to turn to her family for support instead of letting it all out privately.

But by the middle of the week, her health takes an unexpected turn. It’s unclear whether it’s a positive or a negative twist. By the end of the week, she and Victor (Eric Braeden, who’s a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee) agree to a fresh start. So at least in one way, things start to improve.

The ones who need to brace themselves for Victor’s wrath are Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Adam, thinking that he could handle getting Newman Media back and his father at the same time, was a bit delusional.

Victor doesn’t want anyone else to do the work. He wants to be the one to get the company back himself. And he wants to make sure he hurts Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in the process. Needless to say, Victor holds Adam and Chelsea accountable for their actions. Why couldn’t Adam foresee this outcome?

In other news, things heat up between Cane (Billy Flynn) and Lily (Christel Khalil), but Lily finds the need to also set some boundaries with her ex-husband. Meanwhile, Matt (Roger Howarth) is apparently not going anywhere. He and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) toast to the future. And then he, once again, attempts to make amends with Sienna (Tamara Braun).

Finally, at the end of next week, Sharon (Sharon Case) tells Noah (Lucas Adams) about Nick’s setback. What’s going on with Nick (Joshua Morrow)?
