Social Good

Eric Martsolf (ex-Ethan and currently Brady on DAYS) and other members of the cast of Passions reunited on Zoom to share stories in memory of the soap’s late producer, Lisa de Cazotte. The chat was organized to raise funds for COVID-19 charities.

Stephen Nichols (Steve, DAYS) praised his brother-in-law, David Gordon, and his Special Needs Solutions workshop. They’ve made and donated over 2,500 masks to help protect people during the pandemic.

Arianne Zucker (Nicole, DAYS) and Shawn Christian (ex-Daniel, DAYS), who recently hosted virtual variety show Daytime Cares: A Live Event with Laura Wright (Carly, GH), thanked fans for their generous donations. The event raised money for Feeding America and the Disaster Responder Assets Network.

Kimberlin Brown (ex-Sheila, YR and BB) recently donated blood to help those in need, while wearing a mask, of course. And her son, Nicholas, was right by her side.

Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) posted a message to fans, reminding them that May is Mental Health Month. He stressed the importance of staying connected to people during the current pandemic.

YR Stars Launch App

Bryton James (Devon) and Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane) of The Young and the Restless are partnering on a new venture. They’re launching an app that will let soap fans connect with each other in a whole new way.
