Amber Moore on The Bold and the Beautiful was always portrayed as a fiercely loyal mother to her adopted son Eric Forrester III (AKA little “Deke”) and her daughter Rosie. Off-screen, Amber’s portrayer, Adrienne Frantz, is an equally doting parent. Recently, she shared a big milestone that she and her daughter Amélie are experiencing.

Why Adrienne Frantz “Ugly Cried”

“Amélie’s first day of #kindergarten,” Adrienne Frantz shared on Instagram in a post that can be seen below. “My baby is growing up!! She was so excited! I ugly cried after dropping her off! Hard to let the baby go!!! #firstdayofschool #baby #growingup.”

Frantz burst onto the soap opera scene in 1997 as Tiffany on Sunset Beach, one of the show’s original cast members. Tiffany left the canvas early on into the show’s run but Adrienne Frantz was quickly scooped up by B&B to portray Amber. Initially, the character crossed paths with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) in Furnace Creek. She landed a job as a babysitter to Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) despite the fact that they were very close in age to one another.

With the addition of Mick Cain as C.J. and later, Ashley Tesoro as Kimberly and Marissa Tait as Becky, B&B had a new young set for the show. Amber fell in love with Rick and became pregnant with his child. Both Amber and the viewers weren’t sure whether or not Rick or Raymond (Usher) was the father of Amber’s son. Tragically, the child (revealed to be Rick’s) was stillborn.

Amber passed off her cousin Becky’s newborn as Rick’s but later broke down and informed her husband of the truth. Amber and Rick split and the drama continued when Deacon (Sean Kanan), the father of the late Becky’s son, made the scene and wanted custody of his boy.

When B&B’s Amber Went To Y&R

Amber left the canvas and spent time in Genoa City where she befriended Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper) and wrote with her Kay’s memoir titled I’m Going To Live Till I Die. Next, Amber returned to Los Angeles and became embroiled in another paternity puzzle where there was a mystery as to who the father of her baby was. It turned out that little Rosie’s father was Marcus Forrester (Texas Battle), the birth son of Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Justin (Aaron D. Spears), who was adopted by Eric (John McCook).

Since leaving B&B, Adrienne Frantz and husband Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy, Guiding Light) have welcomed two children, Amélie, and a son, Lion, born in 2020. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
