Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) bids Jack Finnegan (Ted King) welcome and then suggests that seeing as how they had so much in common, he should help her out of her predicament — he is a criminal defense attorney after all…Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Eric (John McCook) debate Katie’s (Heather Tom) compacity to reject Bill (Don Diamont). Opposite, Katie does exactly that.
Wyatt (Darin Brooks) joins Liam (Scott Clifton) in worrying about the high expectations Bill has for him and Katie…Katie makes a point of telling and showing Carter what he really means to her…Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) whined to Finn (Tanner Novlan). Sheila’s attempts to charm Jack and get him on their side are all for naught.
Hope (Annika Noelle) pointedly wonders how Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) is handling RJ’s (Joshua Hoffman) return. Thomas insists that all is well…Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) heaps on the pressure for RJ to join the family firm…Deacon (Sean Kanan) thinks better of advertising for a wine sommelier when the bombastic Count Boucie (special guest star James Carter Walker Jr.) and his famished grandson appear on the scene.
RJ rather bursts Ridge’s bubble when he makes it clear he has no intention of pursuing a career as a designer…Hope grows concerned over her increased attraction to Thomas…Count Boucie’s grandson covertly assists him in passing Deacon’s blind-tasting test.
Hope inadvertently stirs up that old loving feeling in Thomas. Having observed the charged moment between the pair, Steffy accuses Hope of flirting with Thomas and demands to know whether or not Hope is harboring an attraction to him…Ridge, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Taylor (Krista Allen) preen over the extended family finally getting along.
