Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives , General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless?

Soap Opera Casting for the week of May 15, 2023

Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas.

General Hospital

Another “Davis girl” is being recast on General Hospital. However, it’s only temporary this time. On the heels of Lexi Ainsworth being replaced by Kate Mansi (ex-Abigail, Days of our Lives) as Kristina Corinthos Davis, comes news that Holiday Mia Kriegel is stepping in as Molly Lansing Davis later this month. The move was dictated by actress Haley Pullos being involved in an auto accident and needing to take medical leave while she recovers. Kriegel’s credits include Animal Kingdom and Bull

Susan Batten (ex-Luna, One Life to Live)  and Morgan Fairchild (ex-Sydney, The City) are back as home-shopping stars Flora Gardens and Haven de Havilland, respectively. The duo, who last aired on the soap opera in 2022, will share scenes with Sofia Mattsson, as Sasha promotes the latest Deception product.

Charles Shaughnessy has completed his run as Victor Cassadine. The diabolical character was pronounced dead. Shaugnessy stepped into the role, previously played by Thaao Penghlis (Tony, Days of our Lives), in 2021.

The Young and the Restless

It was one and done for Shemar Moore, who wrapped up his latest visit as Malcolm Winters on The Young and the Restless. His character left Genoa City after attending a gathering to honor his late TV brother, Neil, and late actor Kristoff St. John. Moore has remained open to returning to soap opera for special occasions, since originally leaving the show in 2005.

Days of our Lives

A trio of baddies is back on Days of our Lives. Miranda Wilson pops in as Megan Hathaway on Tuesday, May 16. She’ll interact with Stacy Haiduk when Kristen presses her sister about her plan to get them out of jail.

Ramon Fernandez makes another appearance as Mauricio. The worker onboard the fishing boat holding Kate (Lauren Koslow) airs on Monday, May 15.

Mark Nordike portrays a prison guard on Wednesday, May 17, and Thursday, May 18.

Ryan Stroud makes another appearance on the soap opera as the Forrester pilot, Trevor. He airs on Monday, May 15.

Julana Dizon turns up as a Forrester Creations model on Friday, May 19. The actress is the real-life wife of Days of our Lives star Carson Boatman, who plays Johnny DiMera.
