The General Hospital recaps for October 18 – October 22, 2021, featuring a (gun) battle royale, another couple in another stalker’s crosshairs, a comeuppance, and so much more.
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) was pleased to learn that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be lending his expertise to the hunt for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) found spyware on Scott’s computer – and a likely link to the Cassadine family.
Despite Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) order to the contrary, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) breached the Cassadine stronghold. They cross paths with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy); he reveals that his men have switched their allegiances to Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) decide to cap date night with a drink at The Savoy. She shares Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) letter of apology; he confides his childhood trauma; both are spied on by an enigmatic patron.
Robert and Anna plan to corner a fleeing Peter on a footbridge. They are met by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Peter ambushes the quad and fires several bullets into Valentin and Drew.
A grievously injured Drew plummets from the footbridge into the water below. Anna tends to Valentin – who begins to go into shock – while Robert gives chase to Peter….Sam and Dante inspected Liesl and Drew’s cells; in the former, they find a discarded syringe; in the latter, Sam finds Scout’s name etched into the wall; Victor warns that Peter has reactivated Drew’s conditioning, but Sam is certain that he can overcome it.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) implored Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) to tell her everything he knows about his family’s real-estate holdings in Greece; he promises to make inquires – then places a call to the tavern owner who’s knee-deep in nefarious doings.
The man stalking Portia and Curtis engages The Savoy’s bartender in idle conversation…Ava and Portia chat and the latter makes her position clear: she wants Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) to have no further dealings with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) or his father.
Drew is revealed to be alive – but under Peter’s thrall. On his master’s orders, Drew loads an unconscious Liesl into the back of a vehicle, doffs his bulletproof vest, and joins Peter in the passenger seat.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) promises Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) that he will neither remove Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as head of Crimson nor will he attempt to keep her from seeing Wiley. Instead, he makes a point of contacting the Pennsylvania Attorney General to discuss the possibility of handing over a substantial donation to the man’s campaign for State’s Attorney, as well as a crime that hasn’t been prosecuted yet.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) meet up for date night; she’s furious that Leo’s pediatrician suggested he be taken to a neurologist. When Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) cross her path, Olivia takes her leave. Austin fills Maxie in on Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) machinations.
Jason informed Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) of his intention to assist Britt in locating her mother…After being apprised of the situation, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) agrees to hold down the fort at GH. Terry is later surprised to receive a call from Jeff Webber, who’s interested in Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) well-being.
The man shadowing Curtis and Portia makes an appearance at the hospital and finagles a meeting with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).
Sonny refused to bail Spencer out of his predicament. Nikolas made Ava trustee of Spencer’s trust fund…Ava readied herself to do battle with Sonny – and blackmail him over his relationship with Nina if need be – but he surprised her by being receptive to allowing her more time with Avery…On the off chance that he is serious about becoming a real member of the family, Monica cautioned Austin to drop his lawsuit against the Quartermaines.
Michael is impressed with Brook Lynn’s tactics…Olivia broached the subject of divorce – much to Ned’s chagrin…Austin signed away his claim to the family fortune; he warns Brook Lynn that this is just the beginning of their battle.
Despite pleas to the contrary, Spencer enters a plea of Not Guilty. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) posted Spencer’s bail, with the proviso that the boy finds employment…Sonny and Nina both vie for Charlie’s Pub; Ava agrees to sell it to the highest bidder; Sonny and Nina both realize that the other wants to purchase the establishment for Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy); Nina bows out of the running.
Valentin’s prognosis is grim; his doctor suggests that he be transferred to a hospital in the US…Victor agreed to assist the WSB with the inquires – on the condition that he be granted full immunity from prosecution…Nina is placed under arrest for fraud and identity theft…Willow is furious with Michael for setting said arrest into motion.
