The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, October 18

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) debated the merits of releasing Jesse Gaines’s (Jamison Jones) inflammatory video detailing Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) machinations. Billy decides to forgo doing so after a plea from Ashland.

Ashland confronted Jesse and informed him that he would be dealt with by the Newman family…Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) directed his Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) caused ire at Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She opinioned that the Newman men, and Billy, should leave Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) to fight her own battles.

None of the wedding guests were particularly pleased to learn that Victoria’s dress was designed by Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)…Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) continued to screen Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) calls, leading Tessa to confide in Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) her fear that she and Mariah won’t clear this latest hurdle.

Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, October 19

Noah confessed to having his heart broken by a London-based artist…Billy considers writing a hit piece on Jesse…Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) advises Phyllis on how to best handle Nick. Sally spies the two together in an embrace and takes a picture.

Nick confronted Victor over his poor treatment of him and his father’s insistence on constantly pitting the Newman siblings against one another…Victor vowed to utterly decimate ChancComm, and, by extension, Billy himself…Sally and Adam get hot and heavy in his suite, but he brings the revelry to a screeching halt.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, October 20

Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) blasted Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) for her complicity in Sally’s substituting her original frock for the one designed by a Fenmore employee; she vowed to revenge herself.

Nick blithely announced to Phyllis that he won’t be returning to Genoa City with her; instead, he’ll be traveling with Noah to London. When pressed, Nick promised that their relationship will be put back on track after his sojourn.

Billy and Lily talked strategy…Nick attempted to forgo biding Victor and Victoria adieu, but Victor pressed the issue; Nick once again condemned Victor’s parenting style.

Mariah paid Dominic a visit…Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) managed to talk Society’s latest chef out of resigning, but she later admitted to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that her business prowess is belying her personal woes.

Mariah informed a returned Tessa that she’s made some important decisions regarding their future, but she doesn’t elaborate…Devon helped Adam put his contentions with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) into perspective – but a subsequent conversation between the exes still ends in strife.

Y&R Recaps: Friday, October 22

Lily and Billy fret over their inability to locate Jesse; they wonder if Adam “disappeared” him and if they can use that in their ongoing war with Newman Media…Mariah and Tessa reconcile…Nick and Noah surprise Sharon Rosales (Sharon Chase); Noah reveals that he won’t be returning to London anytime soon, and his parents speculate as to the reason why.

Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) informed Abby that there exists a very high probability that Chance Chancellor has been killed in the line of duty.
