DAYS spoilers for Wednesday, December 21, 2022, tease Brady Black facing a very tough child who has huge goals about the future of their family. Will he put himself into a nightmarish position to give his child her wish?

Sweet (well, sometimes not so sweet) Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) is liking having her mommy and daddy under one roof. Not just liking it, LOVING it. It’s nice to wake up and see them both every day and go to bed knowing they are there. No more missing out on big moments or bouncing between them. And, she wants to keep it that way.
Rachel makes it clear to Brady (Eric Martsolf) she wants her mother around. More so, she wants them together. She all but demands her dad reunite with her mom and make their family whole and official. We’re sure Brady isn’t going to like this very much.

Meanwhile, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) gives his wife an afternoon of rest and relaxation. She’s been through a lot, especially after the scene at the memorial. She deserves downtime, and he’s going to make sure she takes it. Doc always takes care of everyone else, so he’s going to take care of her.

Also healing from the fiasco are EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker). The pair share a fraught moment as they try to overcome all the drama. Will the whole ordeal bring them close together? Trauma bonding seems to be a popular road to romance in Salem.

Meanwhile, Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry) has great news for her family. She and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) receive a Christmas miracle that brings everyone back together. Does this mean all charges are dropped? Could Paulina be in the clear? Or, is this a temporary but much-appreciated reprieve? Either way, they are counting their blessings and celebrating.
