Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, December 12
Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) tries to dissuade Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) of the notion that he’s her kidnapper but fails. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) comes upon the squabbling pair and KOs Bonnie. Afterward, she places an SOS to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart)… Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) extends Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) a permanent job offer; he happily accepts… Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and Leo grow closer… Bonnie’s loved ones grow concerned over her absence… Sarah Horton Cook (Linsey Godfrey) fills Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) in on Xander’s employment troubles.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, December 13
Bonnie comes to and finds an “unconscious” Xander by her side. Leo, padded out and wearing a clown mask, enters and tussles with Xander before fleeing. Bonnie is convinced that Xander saved her bacon and relays that to her nearest and dearest. Sarah is heartened by the turn of events as she’d just about convinced herself and Justin that Xander was the culprit behind Bonnie and Susan Banks’s (Stacy Haiduk) kidnapping… Leo collects his payoff from Gwen… Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) got to know one another over takeout. Later, they retire to her bed.
Sister Mary Moria (Stacy Haiduk) catches Nicole Walker Hernadez (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) deep in conversation and takes the latter to task for her perceived sins. Nicole gives as good as she gets, tickling EJ… Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) inadvertently clues Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to Eric and Nicole’s estrangement.
DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, December 14
Eric and Sloan get on the same page: neither is looking for a commitment. Just friendship and good sex… Nicole learns from Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) that Eric hadn’t slept in his bed. She tracks him down at Sloan’s apartment… Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) confided Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) kidnapping by EJ to Rafe and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu); they agree to help him bring EJ to justice… Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) reveals to “Charlie” that she intends to plant a bomb in the venue hosting Susan’s memorial service.

Days of our Lives Recaps: Thursday, December 15
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) makes an effort to interest Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) in a kiss underneath some paper mistletoe that their daughter constructed. Soon after, Sister Mary Moria pays the apartment a visit, and Brady, convinced that it’s Kristen in disguise, plants a whopper on her and earns a hand rapping for his trouble… Kristen extends her sympathies to a grieving EJ; he tells her to stuff them.
Ava installs her explosive device and narrowly avoids running into Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) inside the venue. Her luck subsequently fails her when Johnny catches her skulking about outside… John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) plan for him to lull Kristen into a false sense of security and get her to cop to whatever she’s holding over Brady’s head… Eric and Brady cross paths. Eric tenures his resignation.
DAYS Recaps: Friday, December 16
Brady is aghast to learn that Nicole talked Jada into getting an abortion, but still, he cuts for his good buddy; Eric doesn’t want to hear it… Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) makes a point of calling out Brady for forgetting that he was supposed to escort Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) to New York for a performance of her favorite opera. Brady winds up punching Stefan.
Tripp crashes Susan’s memorial and reveals the subterfuge EJ employed in an attempt to forgo paying the ransom demanded for Susan’s safe return… Upon being alerted to Tripp’s presence in the church, Ava storms the building and shouts that there’s a bomb on site. Seconds later, it explodes!
