The DAYS spoilers for Friday, August 20, 2021, tease misty watercolor memories for a soon-to-be ex-Mrs., siblings reunited, an impromptu wedding, and a farewell.
No sooner has Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) got her up, and out of bed, and got her to stop feeling sorry for herself, Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) is confronted with yet more reminders of her failed marriage to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).
First, Belle Black (Martha Madison) drops by with the preliminary divorce papers, and then EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) comes over to thank her for ratting out Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) affair – AKA Nicole’s revenge on Sami for ratting out her affair.
Oh, and EJ’s also has a favor to ask…might this have something to do with the sudden reappearance of his estranged son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman)? And what, if anything, can Nicole do to help reunite the two?
And speaking of Johnny…he happily reunites with twin sister Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Will she be able to put two and two together and realize that he’s the mystery man who turned Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) head?
Having made the return trip to Salem, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) makes short work of arranging a surprise wedding for himself and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). It’s a small, intimate affair; with very few of the couple’s nearest and dearest, but Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is on hand to officiate, so at least someone who loves the idea of the two making it work is involved.
Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), we hardly knew ye. And now, you and Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) are setting off for South Africa with no immediate plans to return. As they say down in the Rainbow Nation, “Totsiens!” (That’s Afrikaans for goodbye.)
