Days of our Lives’ Johnny, the DiMera Who Can Transform the Power Clan

He might have returned to the Days of our Lives canvas as an aspiring filmmaker, but, come on, who seriously thinks that’s going to last? Johnny is the next generation of DiMeras, and an important figure in the prominent family moving forward. He’s a young man who’s destined for bigger and better things – the DiMera who can transform the power clan.

Days of our Lives Young Blood

As the only grown grandson of Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) the youngest member of the family who can legitimately vie for a piece of its legacy and fortune. He has the stamina to eventually put up a fight for a controlling piece of DiMera Enterprises against his father, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), and uncles Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).

Once his drive and determination kick in, and he lets go of his film-making pipe dreams, he’ll realize the family business is the way to go; that DiMera Enterprises is his ticket to a successful and lucrative future. At that point, he could truly be unstoppable.

A Different DiMera

Aside from his youth and energy, Johnny’s also different from the other men in the DiMera family. Yes, he’s got Stefano and EJ’s blood running through his veins, but he’s also got his mother Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney), too. Over the years, he’s seen the way she operates and manipulates to get what she wants. He’s witnessed her be crafty and coy. Johnny’s sure to have picked up a thing or two from his dynamo mom.

Add that to his already strong DiMera rearing, and he’s got an edge on all of the other men in the family. He has all the tools he needs to dream big and achieve big. It’s a recipe for victory.

DAYS Future: In the Right Hands

With actor Carson Boatman steering the ship, Johnny is destined for great things. From his Days of our Lives debut, he hit the ground running, exerting Johnny’s mettle, backbone, and independence. He quickly proved he can stand up to anyone in the DiMera family, and that’s why he’s the perfect person to transform the clan and lead them into the future.
