This week on Days of our Lives, EJ will get the shock of his life. He’s going to find out that he’s not in the position of being in control as he previously assumed. As fans already know, EJ has a thirst for control and possession. But it could put him into dangerous territory this time around.

Key Takeaways

  • EJ’s need for control could cost his life.
  • Stephanie has a gun and isn’t afraid to use it.

Why EJ Has a Thirst for Control

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) always had an intense need for control. Most of it stems from his desire to uphold the DiMera family’s legacy. What’s also triggered EJ is his previous personal betrayals and narcissistic nature.

EJ desperately wants to stay ten steps ahead of his enemies. Ever since he became the new head of the DieMera family, he has resorted to manipulative tactics to exert control and power over others. EJ seeks revenge against anyone who crosses him, even his own family.

EJ is currently focused on getting vengeance against Jada (Elia Cantu) ever since he lost his job as DA. He’s also against those who informed Johnny (Carson Boatman) of the truth behind his conception, which has EJ on a warpath.

EJ Quickly Loses Control

EJ (Dan Feurriegel) is a man who’s obsessed with control. He ends up craving more power and control when everything in his life is out of control. He thinks that he can beat everyone at their game.

But it won’t work this time around. EJ will receive some news that he didn’t expect. This time, EJ will be in for a shock, and there’s nothing he can do about it. Even EJ’s need for control won’t help him this time around. He’ll find himself left in the dark about what could happen next.

Why it Could Cost Him This Time Around

When EJ is aware that his control is slipping away, he becomes more desperate and manipulative. He forces himself to return ot the dark side, often blaming others for his backsliding.

However, what EJ doesn’t realize is that his dark side was always there. He’s just good at hiding it until someone else trips him up. It’s when EJ is desperate to regain the upper hand that his true side shows.

This time, it could cost him. EJ could end up blindsided when he finds himself in the crossfire. Stephanie (Abigail Klein) has a gun, and Steve (Stephen Nichols) wants to make sure she knows what she’s doing.

Meanwhile, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) wants to team up with Sophia (Rachel Boyd) to seek revenge on EJ. These two ladies might end up wielding a gun as well. EJ could himself be at the opposite end of a barrel once again.
