A Word from Chanel D. Adams
I’ve been passionate about writing ever since I was a little kid. I also have fond memories of watching soap operas with my mom and grandmother. Our favorite soap was All My Children. I started writing short stories in high school. I would receive high praise from my English teachers.
I knew I wanted to get into writing in some form. I accidentally fell into freelance writing in 2006 by taking a six-month course with Penn Foster Career School. But I didn’t start actively freelancing until 2008. I worked with agencies like TextBroker and Demand Studios.
My work has been on the internet for over a decade. My digital news writing career kicked off when I wrote for Examiner.com. At the time, I wrote about fashion and beauty. Later, I had the opportunity to write about soap operas, television shows, and other entertainment topics, which led me to join Soap Hub.
Aside from my love of writing and soap operas, I love reality TV. My interests also include dancing, listening to music, going for walks, reading about depth psychology, and spending time with friends and family.
