Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.
The comebacks keep coming at Days of our Lives. In addition to Peter Reckell, Kristian Alfonso, and Victoria Konefal’s returns to the soap opera as Bo, Hope, and Ciara Brady, some other Salem favorites will be resurfacing in the upcoming months.
Kyle Lowder is set to be back as Rex Brady, and Chandler Massey will reprise his role as Will Horton. The pair will head back to Salem to lend their support during a family crisis.
Look for Salem’s handsome doc, Lucas Adams’s Tripp Johnson, to return. His name can be found under the contract players on the DAYS credits.
Miranda Wilson, who resurrected her role as Bo’s ex, Megan Hathaway DiMera, on Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem: Chapter 2, will also be appearing on the main soap. When last seen on Beyond Salem, Megan happily brought Bo back from the dead.
James Hyde finally surfaces in the flesh as ex-con Jeremy Stark on The Young and the Restless. The character, who had previously only appeared on the soap opera in flashbacks, turns up in Genoa City after being released from prison. He’ll confront Diane (Susan Walters) to settle some unfinished business.
Patrick Duffy is back on The Bold and Beautiful scene as Stephen Logan, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Gareis) beloved father. He’ll air on Monday, November 28.
Once again, Duffy will be joined by real-life girlfriend Linda Purl, who’s playing his onscreen girlfriend, Lucy. She also appears on Monday, November 28.
Henry Joseph Samiri is back as Douglas Forrester. He’ll be attending Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes’s (Krista Allen) ill-fated wedding.
Jeff Kober makes another General Hospital appearance as Pentonville inmate Cyrus Renault. He’ll share scenes on the soap opera with Charles Shaughnessy’s Victor Cassadine and Nicholas Coloma’s Nikolas Cassadine when the duo visit Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s incarcerated Spencer Cassadine.
