1. Killer Instinct
Lucas and Sami’s first-born son was thrilled when his parents finally made peace, fell in love and got married.
So, when Stefano pressed Sami to divorce Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and marry EJ in exchange for ending the Brady/DiMera feud, Will flipped. He shot E.J. on his wedding day to Sami, a crime Lucas took the blame for.
2. Girl Happy
Before realizing he was gay, Will dated a couple of girls in high school. Mia McCormick was his first crush, but she was still pining over her ex, Chad. Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) was Will’s second love. The twosome consummated their relationship shortly after graduating.
3. At A Crossroads
Gabi stunned Will when she broke up with him, citing his lack of affection. Will erupted, but then found himself drawn to Sonny and his gay friends.
One night, he got drunk and kissed a guy named Neil. In time, and with Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) encouragement, Will came out to his parents and the rest of his family and friends.
4. Sonny Days
When Sonny surprised Will with a kiss, he rebuffed him. Sonny lashed out and accused Will of not being completely out of the closet. A confused Will found comfort in Gabi’s arms and the pair had sex.
Afterward, Will realized he was avoiding his true feelings and told Sonny he was ready for a relationship.

5. Not-So-Surprise Pregnancy
As fate would have it, Gabi ended up pregnant from her one-night stand with Will. The pair, however, agreed to let Nick take responsibility as the baby daddy.
Eventually, the truth came out and Will was named Arianna’s father. Mother and child moved in with Will and Sonny, who served as a bonus dad to the baby girl.
6 Wilson Wedding
Will and Sonny exchanged “I Do’s” in April 2014, but the very next year the pair began having problems. Will threw himself into his work as a reporter.
Upon interviewing baseball player Paul Narita, he embarked on an affair with him. Later, Will learned that Paul was Sonny’s ex-boyfriend. Upon discovering Will’s betrayal, a crushed Sonny left Salem.
7. Dead End
While alone at Abigail and Ben’s apartment waiting for the cable guy, Will discovered a red tie in the trash. He quickly realized Ben was the Necktie Killer. Ben arrived home to find Will holding the tie and proceeded to strangle him. Will “died” on October 9, 2015.
