Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Soap Opera Casting for the week of January 23, 2023

Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas.

The Young and the Restless

An episode devoted to Tracey Bregman’s 40-year run as Lauren Fenmore Baldwin is bringing a few familiar stars back to The Young and the Restless.

Judith Chapman returns as Gloria Bardwell, Lauren’s mother-in-law, on Wednesday, January 25.

Zach Tinker, who’s been playing Sonny Kiriakis on Days of our Lives, resurfaces as Fenmore Baldwin, Lauren and Michael’s (Christian LeBlanc) son, too. He’ll air on Wednesday, January 25.

Julian Larach plays Trey on Wednesday, January 25. The character is an employee at Fenmore’s.

In addition, Vail Bloom is heading back to the soap as Heather Stevens, Paul Williams’s (Doug Davidson) daughter. Bloom played Heather from 2007 to 2010. The character was last seen in 2012 at which point she was portrayed by Jennifer Landon (ex-Gwen, As the World Turns).

Lily Brooks O’Briant has nabbed the role of Lucy Romalotti, Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei) daughter. She’ll be arriving in Genoa City with Heather.

Days of our Lives

Another dearly departed character is slated to resurface on Days of our Lives. Stacy Haiduk appears as Susan Banks, this week. Look for Marlena (Deidre Hall) to encounter Susan, who perished in a car crash last November, when she arrives in heaven.

General Hospital

A popular Quartermaine is returning to the fold at General Hospital. Daytime Emmy-winning actress Jane Elliot is set to return as Tracy, this April. Elliot, who premiered in the role back in 1978, retired in 2017, but occasionally popped back into town for a visit.  Word is she’ll be back long-term this time.

Denise Crosby resurfaces as Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) mother, Carolyn Webber, this week.  Look for the character to visit Port Charles in hopes of making amends with her estranged daughter.

The Bold and the Beautiful

A pair of fan favorites are back at The Bold and the Beautiful. Dick Christie airs as Charlie Webber, Forrester Creations’ head of security,  on Friday, January 27.

Henry Joseph Samiri pops in as Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) adorable son, Douglas Forrester, too. The talented tyke appears on Thursday, January 26.

B&B is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
