Wedding ceremonies have been a staple on The Bold and the Beautiful from the show’s inception. The late Caroline took not one, but two trips to the altar in the show’s first year! Two characters overdue to get married are Pam and Charlie.

I Do, I Do
Over 90% of fans that voted say, yes, it’s time for Charlie (Dick Christie) and Pam (Alley Mills) to get hitched. They’ve been engaged for a while and, as characters on the show are regularly reminded, tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone. As they both work at Forrester Creations, Charlie and Pam could commute in together. Plus, when they dole out love advice to the younger characters, they’ll be coming from a place of experience.
Let’s get these two in front of the fireplace at the Forrester mansion. Maybe Quinn (Rena Sofer) will even let the portrait of Pam’s late sister Stephanie (Susan Flannery) hang in the living room for the big day!

Make ‘Em Wait
The rest of you, just under 10%, say that you don’t want Charlie and Pam to exchange vows. It’s not that you necessarily want them broken up, but maybe the two could have a more modern relationship and just live together? Or perhaps Pam’s ex-boyfriend Stephen Logan (Patrick Duffy) will come back and make a play for Pam once more. There’s just something about Duffy being paired on-screen with someone named “Pam” that viewers like! (Dallas fans will get this remark!)
Surprise Us Pam and Charlie!
Soap fans love a good plot twist. It’s possible that Pam and Charlie have already run off and gotten hitched and they will someday reveal this to their loved ones. (Surprise weddings in Las Vegas, for example, have been known to happen!)
But ultimately, the couple’s fans won’t be satisfied until they see the pair stand before one another and make a legal commitment. A nice touch would be a cake made out of lemon bars — Pam’s specialty. When might that happen? Stay tuned to find out! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
