Soap Opera Casting For The Week of June 26, 2023

Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.

The Bold and the Beautiful

The Bold and Beautiful’s trip to Rome will include an appearance by renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, as well as his wife, Veronica Bocelli, and their daughter, Virginia Bocelli. The trio will air on Monday, June 26. The tenor is set to serenade estranged lovers Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) with a performance of his popular song, “A Te.”

Jennifer Gareis is also back on the scene as Donna Logan. She appears on Tuesday, June 27.

Days of our Lives

A familiar face from Days of our Lives’ past is back on the soap for a short stint, albeit in a different role. Terrell Ransom, Jr. has been portraying Jerry, the actor Whitley (Kim Coles) hired to impersonate Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) son, Theo Carver. The actor actually played Theo on the soap opera from 2008 to 2015. Since exiting DAYS, Ransom, Jr. has worked on various projects, most recently appearing on the Freeform series, Good Trouble.

Richard Warton is back for another stint as the dastardly Dr. Wilhelm Rolf. The twisted scientist begins airing Monday, June 26 in scenes with Remington Hoffman’s Li Shin. He’s been summoned back to town to do Megan DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) bidding.

The Young and the Restless

Linden Ashby has wrapped up his return run as the diabolical Cameron Kirsten on The Young and the Restless. The villain met his demise at the hands of his longtime obsession, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Newman). Although Cameron is dead, his presence will continue to be felt as the soap opera spins in an interesting direction.
