The Young and the Restless star Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine, took to social media to pay tribute to a beloved family pet who recently crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to eternal peace.
“I know you’re not supposed to have a favorite furry child but Couver was our favorite which made yesterday one of the hardest days for our family,” shared Bell on Instagram, revealing that the beloved family member had died. “He was a dog that would see you walking toward a couch or the bed and adjust to make sure there was room for you. Just a kind soul who loved taking on so many roles.
“So Couver,” Bell continued, “thank you for being a pillow, a shoulder to cry on, a dress up partner, a teacher to the younger dogs, a buddy, the face we’d get excited to see every time we’d come home and truly such an important member to our tight knit group.”
Bell says that knowing this day would come didn’t make it any easier. “I knew it would be hard but it was 10 times worse,” she says. “That’s credit to you for being the best! ❤️ Our hearts ache but you’ll be in them always. #loveyoualways #crushed #bestdogever #mybigboy.”
Bell’s supporters and pals from the daytime community weighed in on her post with words of loving support. Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) let emoticons express her feelings: “😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔”
“I’m so so sorry,” posted Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea). Also, Bell’s sister-in-law, Maria Arena Bell, former head writer/executive producer of YR wrote: “I’m so so sorry!!!!!”
Soap Hub sends condolences to Bell and her family on the loss of her beloved Couver. Classic episodes of The Young and the Restless air weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
