While soap veteran Michelle Stafford has played troublemakers on daytime, the actress would prefer to keep away from trouble when she’s offscreen. And there’s no bigger trouble right now in the world than the coronavirus.

If you want to be outside, guidelines in California are recommending masks. While they may be hard to buy, Stafford shows how they’re easy to make.

Michelle Stafford and Her Kids Get Crafty

While we already learned how much the single mother has to go through just to go on an errand or two last week, that chore has become even more difficult now with new guidelines released in California — or so Stafford revealed in a post she shared on Instagram.

“Ok, so the advisement went down this morning in LA that one can’t be out without a mask. I know it’s hard to get one. Here is an easy fix! And please enjoy the pleasant background music…. thank you @garcelle ❤️”

In the video post, Garcelle Beauvais — described her social profile as Mommy – Actor – Producer -Author -Host- Humanitarian- proud Haitian — shows how easy it is to make your own mask. You can follow her directions below.

The Safety Dance… Mask

Stafford and her kids took the advice to heart and made their own. The Daytime Emmy-winning actress did a follow-up post that showed herself and her two kids wearing their makeshift masks.

“Ok… mama made the masks (see prior post). Off to the post office! We can’t breathe well but we make this look work! #SNAP #thepostofficeisthenewclub”

A couple of the responses told the former General Hospital (ex-Nina) and current The Young and the Restless star (Phyllis) that she looked like she was about to start belly dancing in the picture. Her response? If they’re holed up much longer, she just may!
