Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is disheartened when her efforts to convince Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to take her back are for naught. Later, she’s incensed at catching Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) seeing in the New Year together.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Collins Rosales (Sharon Case) ring in 2022 – and celebrate their anniversary – at Society. Chelsea briefly joins them while waiting on her order…Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) confides in Abby Carlton Abbott Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) his fear that he’ll never bond with Dominic the way she and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) have.

Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, January 4

Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) plan to stage an argument between herself and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is stymied by Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) arrival. Traci strongly encourages Adam to make peace with Billy, then she warns Victoria against using Billy for her own ends.

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) begs Adam not to get involved with either Chelsea or Sally – for the good of Newman Fashion…After a catty exchange with Sally, Chelsea suggests firing her.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, January 5

Abby informs Devon that she’s not willing to amend the donor contract. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) tells Devon that he can take legal action against Chance and Abby…Chance begs Rey to intercede on his behalf, and convince Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) that he’s ready to return to the force…Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) offers Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) a job at New Hope.

Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) asks for Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) help in finding Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) the perfect gift. He presents his girlfriend with a chess-themed charm bracelet…Chance lets Abby know that he’s decided to forgo returning to work for the foreseeable future.

Billy catches Sally in the act of spying on him. He reveals to Adam his inelegant scheme to strike back at those who wronged him – then informs Victoria that their deal is off. Adam takes out his frustrations with Billy on Sally. Victoria commits herself to obtaining Newman Media whatever the cost…After spying on Chance bonding with Dominic, Devon decides to pursue his right to more visitation.

Y&R Recaps: Friday, January 7

Chelsea asks for Adam’s help in convincing Connor that selling the penthouse and finding a new abode is the right move; together, they manage to do just that…Billy tells Traci that he’s abandoned his plan to revenge himself against Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and that he’ll be joining Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at Chancellor Industries…Sally forces herself to play nice with Chelsea.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) maneuvers herself out of a lawsuit launched by an irate member of the Escape Club…Elena stakes her claim on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) when Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) makes a play for him.
