Port Charles. The Early Hours of New Year’s Day, 2022…Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) soundly rejects Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) offer to serve as her sounding board…Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) deposits Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at his penthouse; they both bemoan their current predicaments…Harmony (Inga Cadranel) helps Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) resist the urge to drink.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is put out by Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) determination to team up and find Louise…Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) arrives at the Collins abode with devastating news: Luke Spencer is dead.
Peter August (Wes Ramsey) emerges from his coma. He agrees to give Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) the means to activate Drew conditioning on the proviso that Victor delivers Maxie and Louise to him. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) cuts the men’s convo short. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) assures Maxie that Peter will never hurt her again.
GH Recaps: Tuesday, January 4
Laura gingerly informs Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) of Luke’s passing. Bobbie is certain that someone engineered her brother’s death, but Laura insists that it was an accident…Tracy surrounds herself with family in the wake of her tragedy. Later, she questions Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) continued devotion to a child that is not hers.
Nikolas is incensed to see that Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) has used The Invader to besmirch Cassadine Industries. He, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), and Victor hear of Luke’s death from Kevin Collins. In response to the “neutralizing” of Luke, Victor calls off the hit on Laura.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) decide to renew their wedding vows…Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) delights in telling Drew that he owns his shares of ELQ…Shawn asks Alexis to be his second in command at the newspaper…Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) swap I love yous.

Tracy (Jane Elliot) deduces that Bailey and Louise are one and the same…Harmony visits with Wiley, and inadvertently causes dissension amongst Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)…Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) agrees to serve as Peter’s counsel, but only as it pertains to his supposed murder of Franco Baldwin…Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) blasts Peter.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) disseminates the news about Luke to Maxie, Anna, and Felicia…Valentin begins to entertain the notion of letting Victor strike out against Brook Lynn…Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) encourages Alexis to accept Shawn’s offer of employment…Britt and Austin bond over their distinct lack of a social life. He offers to play wingman for her.
GH Recaps: Thursday, January 6
Brook Lynn tells Maxie that Tracy has rumbled their scheme…Tracy’s attempt to clue Ned in on Brook Lynn’s deception is stymied by her arrest on an outstanding warrant. Alexis and Sam (who tipped Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna]) to Tracy’s presence, delight in Tracy’s plight…Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) braves the Deception office, but it’s clear that Liam’s death has left her shattered.
Ava fuels Nina’s fantasy about a possible future with Sonny…Olivia presses Carly on whether or not she’s projecting her inability to shake Jason Morgan onto Sonny…Sonny tells Dante that he can’t shake his feelings for Nina.
General Hospital Recaps: Friday, January 7
Carly and Sonny reach an impasse; the former heads off to confront Nina…Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is flummoxed to find the wedding ring she doffed and placed inside a kitchen drawer in her locker at the hospital.
Ava reveals to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will be doing his community service at the gallery and that he will be answering to Trina…Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) makes inroads with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), then picks up a potent prescription at GH.
