The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, December 16 heads into wintery weather with an hour devoted to Billy… and the voices inside his head. Victor, Adam, Victoria, Lily, Johnny, Delia, and more make guest appearances. But, don’t worry, all they care about is Billy.
Billy (Jason Thompson) hallucinates as Victor who calls him names, belittles him, threatens to turn his children against him, and even drags John into it. So, you know, the real Victor (Eric Braeden). He hopes Billy Boy stays in prison for a good, long time.
Billy hallucinates a teen Delia dressed like an American Girl Doll, who tells him he’s disappointed her. Remember how he promised her to shape up the last time she came to him in a dream back in 2019? Well, she’s an angry ghost here in 2020.
Billy hallucinates a teen Johnny who is best buds with Uncle Adam (Mark Grossman) – and bio mom, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). At Adam’s urging, Johnny has embezzled money from his other uncle, Jack (Peter Bergman). Now Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is ready to throw the book at him. Oh, if only Johnny had a dad around to set him straight!
Billy hallucinates a Lily (Christel Khalil) who will never give up on him. Are they really this close? We thought they just started dating a minute and a half ago. But, hey, it’s Billy’s hallucination, what do we know?
On the other hand, he also dreams of a supportive Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Jack (Peter Bergman)… as well as a heckling Victor and Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Some are wearing tuxes and ball gowns. Some are dressed down. Billy is wearing an orange jumpsuit. The big question is: For how long?
He’s counting on Lily to get him out. Good thing she already has all the pieces in front of her. She just needs to put them together. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
